Gerard J. Britton manages the design and implementation of compliance monitoring programs and oversees the firm's investigative services. Mr. Britton also works closely with the firm's e-discovery and public policy consultancies.

During his tenure as a prosecutor, Mr. Britton served as an Insurance Fraud Unit Chief in New Jersey and a Deputy Bureau Chief in the Brooklyn District Attorney's Office. Mr. Britton managed the development of prosecutions involving complex frauds, organized crime figures, homicides, major crimes, public corruption, narcotics, and money laundering, and has extensive trial experience. Mr. Britton has been appointed both a Special Prosecutor in New York and as a Special Deputy Attorney General in the prosecution of a corrupt New Jersey official. As a private attorney, Mr. Britton conducted internal investigations, investigated commercial embezzlement and represented defendants in white collar criminal cases.

Mr. Britton, a Certified Fraud Examiner, has been a speaker and panelist for the National White Collar Crime Center and the Police Institute at Rutgers University and has lectured on such topics as white-collar crime, criminal case development, data mining and analytical software, geographic information systems, and insurance fraud. He has also served as an adjunct faculty member in the New York University Center for Finance, Law, and Taxation Mr. Britton has developed expertise in using coordinated information mining techniques and complex computer analytics for use in e-discovery, investigations, monitorships and criminal justice applications.

Mr. Britton, an experienced trial attorney, also holds a Masters of Science Degree in Economic Crime Management and is a member of the International Association of Independent Private Sector Inspectors General.
